Solihull Parent Carer Voice are holding an event for parents of children who will be starting reception in September 2022.
This event is aimed at parents of children who have or may have special educational needs and/or disabilities or parents who have concerns about their child’s development.
This meeting will discuss what schools generally expect children to be able to do when they start in reception, what you can do to support your child if they can’t do these things yet, how you can communicate with your school to discuss any support your child may need.
We will also be talking about what services there are once you start school, the handover from health visitors to school nurses etc.
