We are looking for voluntary parent carer representatives to join us. The role is flexible as we know that as parents/carers our lives are incredibly busy.
The role of a Parent Carer Representative is:
To help raise the profile of SPCV and engage with parents and carers.
To capture feedback from Parent Carers on their experiences of services.
To help to grow forum membership by encouraging parents to join.
To participate in new authority initiatives.
To represent SPCV and all parents/carers at meetings.
To help plan and organise events.
To help build a database of voluntary support groups and SEND services in Solihull.
To support the Management Committee in further development of the work priorities of SPCV.
There is no minimum amount of time that you would be required to volunteer.
We are holding a meeting for parent carers interested in joining us, come along to find out more, ask us questions and learn more about what we do.
